What’s the catch? – there isn’t one!

Working with our existing patrol team you will be responsible for:

  • Providing security patrol checks within a small geographical area
  • Conducting Internal and external inspections of commercial properties
  • Responding to alarm activations
  • Reporting observations, insecurities or any out of the normal activities 

You will need to bring to Cityguard:

  • The desire to be part of our team and be the best you can be
  • Experience in delivering Mobile Patrol Services
  • An excellent command of the English Language (Written and Verbal)
  • A COA or the ability to obtain one
  • Full NZ driving license
  • Be eligible to work in New Zealand

Security Officers - Marina

We are looking for individuals to join our specialist Marina Security Team. This dynamic role offers a variety of activities, and no one shift is ever the same. Working in Auckland CBD in the thriving Viaduct you will be surrounded and supported by colleagues with a wealth of experience. Cityguard is not your average security company – we offer the Living Wage as our starting rate but that’s only the beginning!

Our rosters are developed to provide our team with great work-life balance to ensure you can also plan (and live) your lives outside work! We understand that to attract and retain the best the Security industry has to offer; we need to pay our people what they deserve…

Working with our existing team you will be responsible for:

  • Access and Egress of vessels in a busy downtown marina
  • Responding to incidents, events, and emergencies as and when they arise
  • Reporting observations, insecurities or any out of the normal activities
  • Assist with the management of foot traffic in the area and
  • Conduct safety inspections

You will need to bring to Cityguard:

  • The desire to be part of our team and be the best you can be
  • Experience in the Security field
  • Excellent command of the English Language (Written and Verbal)
  • An NZ Security License COA
  • Holding a VHF license would be preferable but not essential as training can be provided.
  • and be eligible to work in New Zealand

Control Room Operator

We are looking for individuals to join our Control Room Team. This dynamic role offers a variety of activities, and no one shift is ever the same. Working in Cityguard’s head office, you will be surrounded and supported by colleagues with a wealth of experience.

Cityguard is not your average security company our rosters are developed to provide our team with great work-life balance to ensure you can also plan (and live) your lives outside work!

We understand that to attract and retain the best the Security industry has to offer; we need to pay our people what they deserve..

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • To staff the security control room and operate all the functions, to agreed levels, within it including computer, telephonic and radio systems.
  • To direct patrolling security officers to attend incidents/activation etc, and help co-ordinate situations with the supervisor.
  • Record all incidents in the appropriate format and write concise and accurate incident reports as necessary.
  • Undertake staff training as required and receive guidance and instruction from the supervisor when necessary.

   Expectations:

  • At least 1 year experience in  data entry and control room system management.
  • COA preferred but not essential.
  • To display good oral and written communication skills.
  • To expect on-the-spot checks in regards to Control Room systems, completing all tasks that are given efficiently and accurately.

Located at Auckland CBD, you will be working alongside our friendly management team.
