my update on my carcharadons space marines...

well, just sent off my registration for the auckland open 40k event. really really looking forward to this as my only 40k torney this year.

heres my army list for it.
my army list is as follows... (taken from blood angels codex)

2000pt Carcharadons Space marines chapter (space sharks.)

HQ- captain-terminator armour, paired lightning claws, melta bombs 160pts
HQ- Reclusiarch-terminator armour with storm bolter, melta bombs 165pts
E- Sanguinary priest-terminator armour with powersword and blood chalice(narthecium) 85pts
E- Chaplain- infernus pistol, jump pack. 140pts
E- 10 Assault terminators-4 with paired lightning claws, 6 with thunder hammers and stormshields. 430pts
T- 10  scouts(snipers)-camo cloaks,powerfist, locator beacon. 220pts
T- 10 assault marines-1 plasma pistol, 1 hand flamer, power fist. 240pts
T- 10 assault marines-1 plasma pistol, 1 hand flamer, power fist. 240pts
FA- Baal predator-flamestorm cannon, heavy flamer sponsons, xtra armour, dozerblade. 160pts.
FA- Baal predator-flamestorm cannon, heavy flamer sponsons, xtra armour, dozerblade. 160pts.
TOTAL 2000pts.

painting wise,  i am just waiting for a rhino, a set of mk2 and mk5 power armour to arrive from forgeworld to paint up. 40buck rhino. heh. all good. real resin figs. not failcast. heh again. they will get death company jump packs.

trying to find two of the current predator turrets as i have flamestorm cannon and heavy flamer sponsons on the way from ebay.

my mk1 pred looks real sweet. the chassis is all painted and good to go. traded away the old old ball turret and old old sponsons to a mate, replaced with the square metal sponson thingies.

so-1 and a half preds to paint and 10 ass marines. (i have a ten man termy squad as an extra 500pt unit to take me to 2500 all done too.) everything else is completed.

got tyberus the red wake as my captain, converted my sanguinary termy using dark angel, space wolf and grey knight bitz. my assault termy sargent will be represented by my converted librarian fig-hes a combo of space wolf and grey knight bits too)... too cool not to use.

What i have completed is in the process of having decals applied to shoulder pads, etc etc as they are the shizzle.

heh. sorry dude. i made all sorts of dodgey deals to get this army done on the cheap/free..... it went to a good home. yeh. my paint jobs aint flash but army looks sweet on table.

hmmmm. started painting the 5 mk5 assault dudes last nite. gonna assemble another rhino chassis tomorrow nite and paint sum more of the sharkos.... decals look bloody awesome on my characters... all good. chur.

but back to my sharks... i assembled and undercoated the two flamestorm turrets i scored this arvo. gonna take a look at painting them tonite after i finish some work thats piling up.

Pic would get you more responces haha. but the top turret did look cool on the mk1 rhino body. But i think the mk2 pred turrets where the worst out of the 3 options that have been out.
