hardly noticeable profit drop in OZ in 2011.

looks like no shipping to AUS and NZ is staying.

The issue there is that if the embargo was working then the profits would go up in New Zealand and Australia. probably better to check the fall in UK sales to see if the embargo is staying or going.

they still made a world of cash! If only I'd listned to my dad when I was 12 and bought shares rather than that shinny new boxed set..  Sad

The segmental analysis needs to be taken with a pinch of salt... as they are 'sales divisions'.

The impact on GW as a whole requires understanding of the internal transfer prices from the 'Production' division to the various sales divisions. The prices that GW charge internally could change and will likely be different depedning on the sale division.

The report is also in GBP, and Fx rates have been moving.

But, yes the no shipping from Maelstrom etc to Oz,  NZ will stay... and I'm not surprised. Whilst it sucks, it was the correct business decision. The main issue was that they should have stopped it years ago, before it became "the norm". I guess from that perspective you could be grateful for the savings you had whilst they got their arses in gear.

The NZ/Oz price points are still crap (for the consumer) though.
