Hello All.

If you dont know me i am one of those guys that spends most of his time painting and painting. I always need to have a new army every year and over the years my painting has got better and better. Some how i decided to put my hand up to painting one of the Flames of war Army's That Battle Front had given City Guard from Guardcon 2011. It was Dumb of me to do it at the time i had 1/3 of my Eldar to finish for Masters in December and Phil also gave me a deadline of December also. After some Crazy none stop painting days the Eldar got Finished, I now had to start on the Russians. After 4days weekends at work (yes i paint at work  Grin) i managed to get the whole army done. They are a little rushed for me but they come out looking nice overall. to Quote phill "there easy just abit of a dry brush". To bad he knows me to well and just a quick dry brush is not my style. If i had more time i could of put more into the men but i have done some nice basing on them and over all they look quite nice. The tanks/trucks took me the longest at about 18 hours of work and a few trips to Vagabonds for more washes.

Thanks to Phil and Battle Front and Guard Con 2011 it has given me the opportunity to paint something different that i haven't done in a few years. And i hope the people who use these at club look after them as there own and are happy with the final result (as i am not keen to repaint them  Tongue).

And dont forget GuardCon 2012 i will be running another crazy 40k tournament for all who want to join in.

Enjoy the army CityGuard

Thanks

Note: If someone can take some real pics when i bring these into club on a table with stuff that would be good. I mean with a real Cam, this is the best i can do with my lechepo.
