So having read the new Necron codex I'm now in the process of sorting out my old Stargate army to fit the new book and getting ready to make a (possibly) triumphant return to 40k.

Now before I write up my army list(s), I thought I'd ask - what size games are most people playing these days? What format is the next big tourney people are no doubt preparing for?

1850 since this seems to be the standard size for games in tournaments (Battlecry, Equinox) and people often test out lists before hand.

Sweet, thanks for that. Seems nothing much has changed in the last 3-4 years since I played last.

There is the odd game at 1750, but generally just make a 1850 list and you can drop 100 points of 'cool toy' typed upgrades etc.
