i think i saw you once when i was watching the speed freak army in action and i think your dad came to pick you up i am starting a 40k ork army at um 785 points atm so when i am done or we can have a fun 1000-2000 point battle

Hi, Im James and I'm really into 40k. I have a few army that each have around 2000 points. I've been into the whole thing for about 8 years but really got stuck in 5 years ago. I've only been to a tournament once which was the recent Battlecry but hope to go to a few soon. I'm also really into Halo, although thats not really something thats needed to know here.

Hi All

I haven't been on here much since I first signed up (shortly?) after Fluffycon.

I'm currently focussed on my lordless 2250 VC army, but I have a couple of bucketloads of Chaos Marines as well.

I had my first game at Freeman's Bay today, where Chris cheefully churned my skellies into talc. A good time was had, and I'll be sure to be back.

Looking forwards to getting more games in so I can improve my play, and maybe not come in dead flat last in the next tourney.

Very new to War Gaming, have only really been engaged in the 40K universe for about 6 months or so after I uncovered the board game Space Crusade in my closet. This progressed to playing some Dawn of War and then painting up my Space Crusade set ( great learning experience for a beginner painter )

Was then pointed towards this forum via Vaul, I actually haven't played a table top game before and have recently purchased Assault on Blackreach which will be the basis of my Space Marine army, also plowing through the Horus Heresy series with gusto.

I have decided to paint them Salamander as flamers, melta's and close range fire fights sound right up my alley.

Looking forward to coming down and see how the game is played.

got into 40k after a friend introduced me to Space Hulk 16 years ago, and since then played necromunda as well.

then went on a 9 or 11 year hiatus and got back to it with more disposable income then i've ever had before

currently over 6000pts of Dark Angels. only a few of which need painting and it'll be all done.

then its onto the 2000pts of tyranids that are in need of converting and TLC

I've partaken in a game at the club once and have otherwise rubber-necked Vaul's warhammer games and seen him throw himself whole-heartedly into the hobby.  home-boy doesn't do stuff by halves. I'll take the credit for getting him back into it

took part in the last two Battle Crys too, which have been awesome events.  thank you Karen, Regan and Wade and anyone else involved of course..

I've been painting 40K stuff for longer than I care to remember (and once in a blue moon I even get to play) - mostly Orks and Chaos, with a scattering of Marines and Guard.

I hope to make it to the club in the next few weeks to check out the lay of the land. Hopefully you guys run apoc games once in a while, as that looks like a blast.

Hi everyone. I'm relatively new to the 40k game. I picked up the rulebook last August and found it quite to my liking. Since then I've been painting a small force of Space Marines.
