so looking at something different could the 40k battle points system work in fantasy

my point of view is a 6th game thats not dawn attack i really dont like it speaking with harry at ts4 he is not keen as well dont know what the rest of you feel

so i was thinking a battle line deployment but scoreing 1 battle point per unit and hero 2 for a bsb and 3 for a lord

win by 10 or more 20-0
win by 5 to 9. 15-5
win by 3 or 4. 12-8
win by 1 or 2 11-9
draw 10 all

what do you think

Unfortunately not dude, this favours some armies more than others, creating even more of an unbalanced playing field.

The reason this system exists in 40k is because they have missions where you need a troops unit to hold an objective, so when you build a list you'd be thinking of having as many units that can do that as possible.  But because you'll have to play a 'kill points' style mission at some point, you have to reign that back in until you have a balanced list.  Otherwise you'll only gear your army to win half it's games, rather than having a reasonable shot at all of them, where theoretically you can bridge the gap with your generalship.

It's not for fantasy, we don't have objective markers strewn across the battlefield (thank god for that).

yes it can spread ya troops out but you can minimise that to some extend by choosing which troops u place first
