Guardcon warm up games

Hi,

Both myself and my partner for this event have just finished assembling our respective armies. (1000 +200 points each)

We are wondering if anyone is keen for some warm up games / teaching the noobs to play 40k. Both Paul and I have been out of the loop for hmmmmmmmmmmmmm 6+ years at least, as such we have a vague idea of some of the rules but are still very noobish.

We are both on holiday for the next week or so and as such most days work for us. We can travel to someone's house / club or play @ my place - i have an 8 by 4 set up

i'm pretty much free for most of the next week too at this stage, so i'm happy to help.  my team mate is busy himself for the next week but i'm happy to play solo against you guys and run a practice game or two if only to brush up on rules. 

where are you based?  my place is in the middle of town and i have a board setup in my nerd cave.  could even do it tomorrow afternoon seeing cityguard is closed?
