I have 6 or 7 HD episodes on a portable currently, that I keep meaning to start watching

I continue to hear how awesome it is, and that it does the books justice.

yes to you both - Luke, i haven't got the HD, but all the eps are most def watchable and some of the best TV out.

and Moe, get into it, its almost on the level of being Shakespearean, there's that much intrigue and drama and devilish characters.  not to mention the decapitations and boobies

It will be interesting to see how many eps are in the next Season.Atleast i'll have the 2nd season of The walking dead to watch while they finish off season 2 of Game of thrones

Great series... sad its nesrly over. Happy series 2 has green light, and there 'should' be 7 in total (supposed to be 1 series per book.... but not all 7 books are out yet ;-).

The only creepy characters seem to be the Kings advisors. Hope ep 9 has more than ep 8 where we just got too much development and not enough action. I'm not complaining the program is epic goodness, I just want more.

Production value is pretty high, gonna tear through this in the next day or two I imagine.

The film stock they have used must be top notch as the picture is phenomenal. Top it of with well chosen scenery it looks like a movie but is actually a tv series.

i would put at a guess that this isn't film and is using the the newish hd digital panasonic red cameras they all the rage for tv production at the moment. they say its the most film like hd camera yet.
you too can have one for about 24.000 without lens.

still cheaper in the long run than film and easier to throw digital effects over the top of, than film
