Clash of the Titans (Formerly Mini-Guardcon)

Greetings all.

Phil has asked me to organise mini-Guardcon this year and I have obliged. However the name has to change. CG members are some of the best Fantasy players in the country, hence the new title: Clash of the Titans.

This event will run over a number of weeks starting on the 10th of July and finishing by the last weekend in September (actual finish date will be determined by the number of entrants).

Games will be played primarily at the hall on Sundays, but you can get your games in at home during the week if you can arrange it.

We will be using the Equinox players pack from earlier his year, if you don't have it, let me know when you register and I will send you a copy. Players may change thier lists (and indeed their army race) from game to game if they wish, as long as the meet the Equinox caps.

I will sort out and post up the round robin draw(s) once I have all the entries.

Winner will be decided on Battle points alone. No painting, no sports. You should all know how to behave by now. Missions will be randomly generated for each game as per the rulebook.

Cost will be $5 to cover the pretties for the winners, paid to me on the first week of the comp. To register PM me, or drop me an email. Interest needs to be registered by the end of TS 4 (July 3rd).

Any questions, post them up here and I will answer them.

So bring it on people, Glory, Bragging Rights and Bling await the winner.

not sure if you want to make this an offical tournament, I think I have a place in New Lynn (my parent shop) where we can have a mini 2 days tournament for reasonably cheap.

I have the key to the place but I just don't have the time to go there to see how many tables I can fit. From my parent's description, it should be able to hold 8-10 tables.

Awesome Big D and keeping the tradition of the Mid winter Warham league at the club. I still have the trophy for this 'The Guardsman Trophy'. I'll hand it back in readiness for you to polish it so you can present it back to me

Just a reminder to all that I need entries for Clash of the Titans by the end of Tin Soldier so I can have the draw ready by the following Sunday. So far I only have 3 entrants, which is a little disappointing so let the entries flow!
