How do you get personal images?

Hi there, I can't seem to upload a personal image. I tried the help but it wasn't helpfull. So can anyone give me some guidelines.

I'm going to guess you mean a profile avatar? I know that there is something wrong with the avatar system when you try to upload one off of your computer on this site. The only other way to do it is to link a file from a page with the url. Easiest way to do this is to create a photobucket account and upload from there.
