@ Lezle

Cool thanks for that. Also is it possiable to upgade your henchmen groups? From what the rules say you can upgrade your heroes eg +1 WS but there is no mention of henchmen or such.

That's quite alright.

Nay. Henchmen are Henchmen. Page 165 states Heroes only, and that's good enough for me.

Otherwise you'd have Zombies like Rambo! Cheesy

If you have any chums that wish to play, Johnny, that aren't members of the club or forum etc. feel free to invite them - there is room for everyone.

Have been back from NatCon for a couple of days and am catching up on things.
Christchurch is a mess, the number of visual shocks gets you down after a while.

My army for will be Skaven, of the bright yellow Australian kind.

NatCon at Easter in 2012 is being hosted by the hamilton Immortals, do you want to try and get a Mordheim campaign off the ground for it.  we are looking for a playing umpire.

Rob

I shall add your Warband choice to  the list.

To-day I had a rummage in the forbidden cupboard (you know the cupboard I mean!) and Lo and Behold! what appeared before mine eyes like a vision of beauty!?

MORDHEIM TERRAIN!

Fear not! We shall not be struggling for terrain this year!

How-ever! This is Mordheim - the more terrain the better!

Feel free to bring any terrain you wish to the tourney.

Lezle could you please put me down as a participant in this worthy event.

Now can I bring Stirland Elves?

That is unfortunate great, Derick. Wink

I can't find Stirland Elves... I found this one:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/6696095/Mordheim-Warbands-High-Elves

Is that the warband you want to use? Send me a copy of the roster, please.

Ah. I didn't think you had any elves. Undecided

That looks fine: a welcome addition... I don't know if anyone at the club has even faced Lizardmen before, so that'll be good.

I'll chalk up your name and warband in the Players Pack (first post.)

I have three others from Hamilton, aside from myself, who are interested in coming to Mordheim Can opener.

When will we be able to see a players pack please?

Mate! The first post in this thread is the Players Pack! This tourney isn't that sort of tourney, if you know what I mean. Cheesy What is read in the first post is all that need be explained.

Three more! That's great: if you would like to inform this tread of the warbands they will be bringing, that would be good. Whilst not really mandatory, it does stop everyone turning up with Possessed for example. Haha!

Thank you,

Will be bringing along a sorry assortment of undead cannon fodder to protect my Vampire.

A-ha! I knew someone would bring Un-dead this year; if no-one was I was going to, just to spice it up, like.

Thanks for that.

Goodo regards the "players pack".
We played a Mordheim 2 night event at the Immortals about 3 years ago and had about a dozen play.

I'll run off the stuff and get it out to those who are interested at Club Night next Monday.

Whats the latest date that people can make up their minds to play.

I have a couple of sets of the Mordheim cardboard buildings plus the club has a couple of sets so we will bring those up if you like.  I also have lots of Gale Force 9 trees if you want them. Plus Carl seems to have a pile of appropriate terrain. The club has some of the newer Gale Force 9 buildings if they would be useful.

Jolly Good.

I'm going to leave the registration open until the Twelfth of June which is a Saturday, so I can get the number of tables and the like sorted on the Sunday (club day), and address issues that need to be addressed if any arise. Smiley

I have enough terrain for three tables. Andrew and Mike combined, one. The club has enough for about three, maybe four. So, depending on how many chaps you can muster... Bring some if you can I say, just to be on the safe side!

I have added a time table to the main post. Feel free to offer some improvements.

I also forgot to mention:

Black Powder rules, and the Critical Hit optional rules will be played.

I thought it was a given, but you never know.  Smiley

Typical.

That's alright! Less people just means more chances of winning the tourney! Wink

Thanks for letting me know.

Well, well, well...

Firstly, I must say thank you to all you chaps for putting in a appearance; secondly, shame be upon those who played not - you missed out on a great tourney.

The results over six games:

Lezle: five wins
Aaron: four wins (plus the decider for second spot)
Rob: four wins also
Andrew: two wins
Derick: one win
Mike: nout

Destroyer:

Aaron: thirty eight kills
Rob: twenty eight kills
Lezle: twenty five kills
Derick: thirteen kills
Andrew: twelve kills
Mike: eight kills

Champion Pit Fight:

Mike won this with a fabulous display of sheer brutality and might, killing all other champions by himself outright. Well done that Witch Hunter!

So there we have it, a spiffing Saturday, and a good laugh over-all.

Thanks once again!
