Ogre Lists

Hey all!

Before I retire my Ogre Army I want to play one more list.
The question is... which one.
Would like your ideas on my final two lists.
(both have similarities)


List 1 (the horde)

So what do you guys think???

Amy, it all depends on what the goal of your list is.  I know there is a continuum with 'winning games' at one end, and 'having fun/taking the ideas you like' at the other.  You're at the latter end most of the time, so if that's the only goal i'm sure you'll find that in your heart you've already decided which list to take.

But the more you go down the other end of the scale, the more pressure you'll be under to:

* Take the slaughtermaste r off the carpet, make sure he's on foot, and give him something useful like a combat weapon or an earthing rod, given that the ogre miscast table is so terrible

* Spread the points in your army out so that you have a few more units under your control, making it hard for your opponent to deal with everything at once

* Keep bulls to a minimum or make sure that the unit you do take has a particular role in mind, whether it is a mage bunker or a delivery vehicle for some choppy characters.

and it plays well?
lots of characters for smashing stuff.

well, I only had 1 game with it.

Tyrant, BSB Bruiser, second Bruiser and bulls form 1 death star unit. Just put them in the middle and throw them into combat.

Butcher, slaughtermaste r in the other unit of bulls, spamming buff spells with 1 or 2 dice, use tooth gnoblars if necessary.

use gnoblar fighters to cancel steadfast.

leadbelchers for redirecting, blocking and fast cavalry hunting. (take 3 in 1 unit, so you can still rally with 1 model)

gorgers for warmachine hunting
