I made a joke about using Ponsonby Pool Hall as a venue for the CHCH relief fund.
Without taking anything away from Richard's CHCH con (or quakecon) I'd like to organise something different.

How about a game of skill? You think your good? can you man up?
Can you handle a Pool tournament?
This tournament is open to all gaming codes: War Machine, 40K, Fantasy, Munchin, tiddly winks... whatever
We will keep stats to see which gaming code has the best (pool) players.

Ponsonby Pool Hall is just up the road from Freeman's Bay.
Start time: 6:00 finish: between 9:00 and 10:00
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and a plate prize.
Entry fee payable on entry $15 a head

Post your interest here, I need minimum 16 players for this to work

Lets make this a big one guys. If there is someone at the club that doesn't see this post...
If you know some gamers who don't come to the club...
If your sister's husband's brother's uncle happens to be in town...
Invite them bring them along...

And another thing, I just word, Ponsonby Pool Hall is sponsoring the event!
The tables will be free to the club, so all money we raise will go towards the relief fund.
Note: drinks are not free Smiley
