hey guys,

just letting you know that the annual Whangarei 40k tournament is coming up in may on the 28th &29th.

follow the link for points, payment details and players pack. should be good this year as they have indroduced a new painting rule.

I went up in 2006 I think and had a great time. Real good buch of people and enjoyed the weekend. I even got my highest painting position of 3rd which for those of you who know my painting skills would prob suggest that was a fluke.

Work approved my leave, i'll be coming up for it.  First 40k tournament in ten years but my practice games are going well.  Default plan is to drive up alone and book a motel nearby the venue.  Any advice appreciated there, i'll also be considering carpool/accomodation offers too, let me know.

There is 26 spots available for the tournament, so those who are serious had better get cracking. Apparently there are a few issues with registering on the website, so here is a link to a thread with the players pack. Join the forum and post in the topic stating your interest.
