Hi folks,

There will be a Bring and Buy area at BattleCry, near the Cafe where I'll be. We will have a person there all weekend keeping an eye on things too. If you want to bring a long a few things for sale please make sure they are wrapped together in a sealed plastic bag or gladwarp etc that can be seen through (so no loose miniatures/bits that can be palmed by dubious folks), the items are clearly labelled to describe what's for sale, clearlly priced and also clearlly name labelled as to who is selling them so we can make sure any moneys gets to the right people.

And if you have other geeky items apart from minis etc they are also welcome... but just geeky things though... it's not a garage sale Wink

Regards,
Karen

Breathing holes? Why would you need breathing holes?

Speaking of which i was going home a while ago and saw a Mum cutting her kid off a tree. The guy had been glad wrapped to it. I wanted to laugh, but didnt think it would be appreciated. Back to topic does PC games ect come under the Geeky label.

It's cutting a fine line... we are trying to avoid electronic gaming types so we don't have certain people think we are trying to copy that other large geeky con that happens once a year... so yes you can bring them, but not bucket loads of them or at least don't be surprised if we only put a few out at a time  Grin

Just reminding everyone that there will be a Bring and Buy table at BattleCry. So there will be a wide range of things that people are selling... and if you have things you want to add to the table please wrap them in the groups you want to sell them as. Gladwrap and money bags are fine. Label everything with your name and the price you want and give them to our Bring and Buy people and they will keep an eye on them for you, and collect any money for you as well.

The Bring and Buy area will be near the cafe where all the other merchandise will be. Check it out at BattleCry.

I may have to haul in those white dwarf magazines again. Might be able to empty out the box a bit.

How much can we bring along and is there a cost for selling stuff?

What he said. You can bring along as much gaming stuff to sell but you must have each individual item you want to sell named (first and last name) and priced. If you have groups of things that sell together (unit of miniatures) they must be in a see through bag or wrapped in gladwrap so people can see what they are buying but the singles can't get mixed up or nicked.

I hope that clears things up.
