Yesterday my gf and I went to a cafe in New Market and there is a card game called Zeus & Hera.
The game is really similar to "Magic" but fewer rules so it is really easy to learn and to play.

My gf really enjoys it so I think it is also suitable for girls/ladies to play.

Karen's the person to talk to about card games. Have played a huge amount over the holidays and you should try these out.

Thunderstone, Dominion, Bang, Bonanza and theres a stack of board games too suitable.

I checked today, it's on our distributors stock list but I just need to confirm he still has some in stock. It's one of the 2 player Kosmos games which are really good Smiley I'll post tomorrow from work if the distributor has emailed work back.
