Plastic Sternguard

I made a start on a unit of Sternguard a week ago. I'm hoping to get a squad of 10 done, but usually I'll run 6 in a razorback.



The libby is something I started a while back and will finish as I work on the sternguard.

nice work....but the guy on the far right his gun needs to lean aganist something (like his leg) it looks a little unrealistic to hold a gun that way, or you could add a strap.
is that force weapon off a GK?

Thanks for the comment. I'll get the rest of the squad modelled before I get painted. I have a few things to paint for Battlecry and these guys are a distraction for when I'm sick of painting. And I'm also waiting for my Maelstrom order to  arrive so I can actually have the kits needed to finish their squad.

I'm bringing my Templars to Battlecry. I haven't really played with my Ultras since the start of 5th Ed, except for one game where I used the DA codex to play an all Terminator list.

Other than that, I have dropped my armies down to two for both 40K and Fantasy. Just the aforementioned Ultramarines and Black Templars (around 6K of each) and WoC and High Elves (around 2.5K of WoC and about 8.5-9K of HE of which about 6 is what I could field legally on the table)

And I'm still waiting for my Maelstrom package....... .............
