30th October - Collectibles models fair in hall

This Saturday (30th October) there is a Collectors Fair and Hobbies Expo happening at the Freeman's Bay Community Hall (where club happens)

11am to 3pm

$5 Entry fee (all primary aged kids free with an adult)

The list of things listed in the flier include models from the matchbox, corgi, dinky, lledo, hot wheels, diecast models, meccano, mosdel trains, toy soldiers, kit sets, tv themes, star wars, intergalactic, batman, dr who, McDonalds toys, etc etc...

I have booked a free club stand space, to hold an information table about CityGuard, BattleCry, the America club and any other associated clubs... I was thinking of putting out 1 terrain table, and setting up some terrain and minis just for show... and use part of the table as the stand, and the other half for the display.

If anyone would like to come along and help out on the stand, or wants to find an opponent and demo a small wargame of some sort... please let me know asap.

I need them before Sunday... I need them for Saturday... hense this message... I did mention that to Luke... and that was why I had a table popped into the boards cupboard... I hope it's still there... otherwise I'll be set up on the floor.

Which club's are attending this thing? I haven't heard anything about it so hopefully there will be a big turn out.

I have no idea if any other clubs have taken up the free stall space offer. I know of it because we have been trying to get some of these collectables people along to BattleCry as trade stands and they sent me info. Usually their expo thing has been way out of town so I haven't had a means to get there, but they have been getting bigger and are using Freemans Bay which is just super handy

I've actually contacted a bunch of the other clubs and offered them flyer space on the stand so we can promote gaming as a whole, so people have options.
