Fantasy 1600pt club thing

OK we seem to have interest for this so here is what I'm proposing:

6 games, 2 games per day, fortnightly over six weeks
Dates: 31st Oct, 14th Nov, 28th Nov

1600 Points: restrictions as per rulebook, go nuts. You can change your list/lores week to week(not per game).
Turns: 4 turns or by agreement, whatever you an fit into given time. Your first game will start at 1:00(allow for setup time), your 2nd game will start at 3:00(allow for packup time)
Magic: restrictions as per rulebook
Scenarios: roll for scenarios, if not suitable terrain for Watchtower, steal a building from a nearby table.
Terrain: mysterious woods/hill, no arcane buildings
Armies: paint optional, figures optional, Movement trays optional, Bases are not optional. Your units must be clearly identified.
Line of sight (Rule for those cheesy gits who think they can get away with it) If your model is described as a large target or if your model is not representative of the expected height/size of the model its representing, , it can be seen anywhere on the board by default, even if its a piece of rice on a 50mm base. (no Vod-sizing please).

Players
Anybody, that does not advise that they want to play through email, misses out. The year is 2010, internet is over 20years old and our modems are faster than 300 baud. Not my problem!

The whole thing is to see how 1600pts will work as a tournament
We have heard people bag the idea, without any knowledge.
This way we can see if 1600pt would suit one dayer's

I don't care if you bring fishmen, as long as you have semi-acceptable army rules to support it.

Good on you, we can work around the numbers one way or another.
After this Sunday, the next day will be the 14th. We'll reserve judgment on whether to go with a 3rd weekend, depending on numbers and player inclination.

This is the ruling... no set lists.
This is all very experimental ...  so experiment.
What doesn't work one game, may very well work better another game, so procrastinate to your hearts content.
Why not try some different combinations which you've been wondering how they'd work?

you can even swap armies if you want, that's what no set lists means, just don't do it in the middle of a game.
