First thanks Phil for an awesome event.
I was running Lizards: Slann w/- Rumination(extra spell dice), Temple guard Chief w/- ancient Steg, Kroxies, Razordons, Salies 2 units saurus, skink skirmishers Paul (2 treemen) 17-3 loss Forgot impact hits from the steg charge Forgot rumination
Paul(Skaven) 11-9 loss Lot of fun,
Paul(Empire) 9-11 win Enjoyable game Slann Had Vines but still miscast, double 6's, dropped to level 1 My vote for best sport
(Can't remember much of Day one, apologise to my opponents, all I really remember were that we had some good gaming.)
Russell (High Elves) 15-5 loss Slann Had Vines but still miscast, double 1's This took out every model in the temple guard unit, except the standard bearer. Slann escaped the vacuum cleaner, so it was a lone slann and Unit standard bearer that charged an eagle. Eagle cleaned up the standard bearer, lost combat and was run down by the slann. Great game, could've been worse (Throwing the last temple guard at the eagle cost me 330 points).
Noel (Orcs and Gobbos) 9-11 win This was a close game, only just went my way. I threw the Kroxigors away attempting to bait, but that didn't work too well. Salamanders in the building kept the Green horde at bay, the Steg in the right flank mopped up the bits and pieces Noel got off a valient charge with his Orc boys(with BSB) onto my spears, and then bounced off them giving me the game in the last turn.
Josh (Betty Davis Chaos tip-toers) 0-20 win I thought Josh was going to steam roll me 1st round, Razordons took out a Demon Prince of Korne Steg and Krox took out JuggerGuy and unit of dragon ogres Salamanders roasted a few choosen in a building Skinks and magic did a lot of dammage all through 2nd turn Salamanders roasted the rest of the unit bar 3, who valiantly charged a unit of saurus and went to be with their gods The hell cannon charged the Razors, they held A unit of decimated warriors charged the steg, the steg broke them and then proceeded to rear end the hell cannon A large unit of warriors took out the Kroxies, then a unit of Skinks, then into the Steg flank. In the last combat, the Hellcannon lost its last wound, the warriors lost combat and fled and were trampled by the steg. Josh spent most of his magic phase dispelling, and had some bad dice rolls. I had some awesome rolls for shooting results and for a couple of breaktests (triple 1's, don't you just love cold blooded!)
With that, I'll put the lizards away and pick up ... Dwarfs!
