If you want to organise something then there will be space in the side gym which is open all night. You will have to mingle with Magic players and board game players Smiley

I had a really great time at Fluffycon this year as well, so a big thanks to Dave for all his hard work running the event.

And a special big thanks to my opponents for giving me their sports vote, this really made my day  Grin , and took the sting out of loosing all my games :'(

Jorin.

Well I gave you my sports vote, but maybe you'd win more of your games if you weren't laughing and smiling all the time, sometimes I think you send your orcs to their deaths just because you think it's a big joke!  Maybe it is?  Anyway i'm sure you'd be laughing and smiling if the boyz were spilling the blood of their enemies too.

Thanks for your advice Luke I value it highly as you are certainly one of top players in the game and I think you are right I do need to be a little more serious in my games if I want to win. And believe it or not I do want to win my games  Smiley

Or... winning is a by-product of your enjoyment. Don't ever let it become of the reverse Jorin - we need more players like you to mitigate the hardcore, debate-oriented, take-no-prisoners gamers who are trying to scratch each others eyes out on Day Two.

Lucky Dave

ADC scalps collected = 2 (does it count as 2 when it's been Philfy both times?)

Thanks Dave, you did a brilliant job. I enjoyed 6 consecutive games of 8th edition, which is more than I have since it first came out!
Much appreciated!

@Frosty Keep up the good sports! You can afford to take a slightly nastier army though, that'll help win some games (just don't go too nasty!)

Mark McCall was the other best sports winner, I remember because we played the last game of the tournament together. It was my biggest loss during the event being a 20 - 0 victory for Mark and because of the way Mark played it was still a very enjoyable game and a lot of fun to play.

What you say is absolutely right Dave, I guess at heart I am not a super competitive player but more of a hobby gamer really, in games it is very important for me that my opponent enjoys the game as much as I do. If this does not happen for some reason it’s just not fun for me at all, and after all that is the whole reason we play this game isn’t it? fun and enjoyment. I guess I might have been lucky but the six guy's I played against at Fluffycon all had the same attitude, which made even the huge losses for me still fun games to play. However after all is said and done I am still always trying to win those games!

@Frosty Keep up the good sports! You can afford to take a slightly nastier army though, that'll help win some games (just don't go too nasty!)

Thanks Nik, I will certainly be trying to craft slightly more aggressive army lists in future

Sometimes stream-rolling over your opponent is not much fun either.

usually very close games are the most enjoyable games.

Yup, that's him, We both got a bit bruised in our games but he had a great time and I am sure he will be back at next years Fluffycon  Smiley
