flooded out

hey there looking to have a windge, and a rant, and even a shoulder to cry on.
all that heavy rain last night flooded out waiheke island
came out this morning to find my car full of water, and all the electronic's in it are rooted.
but heres the really sad bit. my garage /man cave/hobby room/painting studio got flooded as well.
and i lost about 100 or so white dwarf mags dating back to 1989 and my old version of space hulk got trashed (all thouse cardboard map peices and tokens ) plus my mountain of cardboard i was saving for terrain projects is all gone.
the water got to just bellow my knee. according to the dirty lines on my fence, car, garage and i didn't even know till this morning.
there you go winge and sob over and done.
 i know its not that bad compared to thouse poor bastards in pakistan,still can't believe that one nights rain could flood so quickly.

Losing things that can be replaced is tough enough, but losing stuff that is no longer made is just brutal...

i would hate that it that happened to me, i price me rare bits of 40k, my rogue trader army is my most priced piece if that got stolen or lost i would so so unhappy.
