I am wanting to buy an Airbrush and i am not sure where to buy one or which brands. I want a Double Action, Gravity Feed Airbrush and hoping not to spend over $200. If you know where i can get one or have experience as to what type you would recommend please tell me.

Thanks

For $200 do i get a compressor as well as the Airbrush or just airbrush. And would you recommend the airbrush they sell (which one would you buy).

Under $200! Shocked  Do me a favour!

I inquired out of curiosity for myself to-day at Gordon Harris; you can get an air brush kit for under $200, sure: however, a compressor is another couple of hundred more.

i once graffittied a whole car with one of these Grin......not that i recomend it.
they are small, fairly quite, and great for undercoating and tanks

Ohh lez i mean air brush and compressor both for under $200.

Go to super cheap car auto, the sell there own brand stuff SCA brand min air compressor, up to 35psi good for air brush and they have two types of air brushes top load and bottom.

Issue is you are looking in model shops and they always sell the expensive brands and set you back $500.

SCA Mini Air Compressor PLU 161701 around the $100
SCA Air Brush Kit - General Purpose PLU 161651 Around $50 (Bottom load like the GW one)
SCA Air Brush Kit - Professional PLU 161683 Around $70 (Like a real air brush top load)

I have just done all the work for anyone who ever wanted to get an air brush and compressor for cheap. There are the items with the store codes. Go to any SUPER CHEAP CAR AUTO store in NZ or OZ and you will find these items.

Also if you want to spend a little bit more still under $300.

Email this guy http://www.thetraindepot.co.nz/ (website) sales@thetraindepot.co.nz (email)

This guy does combos for about $250 last i spoke to him look on trademe under his name thetraindepot and look at his listings. The compressor looks alot better than the SCA one but a bit more expensive but still a very good price.

Prices for Train Depot

FAT200 Mini Air Compressor with Air Brush $199.00
FAT199 Mini Air Compressor with Tank(no brush) $230.00
FAT186 Mini Air Compressor with Tank-Twin Compressor $316.00
FAT301 Spare Air Hose 1.8Mtr Mini MBT140K $20.00
SL120 Air Brush - Suction feed $70.00
SL140 Air Brush - Gravity feed $70.00

Also if you are going to buy anything at that price form Hobby city Hit me up i get a 15% dicount sometime 20% depending on how much they can nock off. I have spent over 15k in that store and they are very good to me now.

Also i would rather get a top load air brush over the bottom you get a better flow of paint and it falls down instead of having to suck up i think this is where the GW on Fails.

Do you think that the Airbrush is of a high enough standard?
