Also noticed, the short ones pulling 2nd at Pilgrimage. 8th Ed has turned the WH world on its head!

Then you'd be wrong IMO Smiley

Here's the 2nd Place Dwarf

2300 Pts - Dwarfs Roster

Dwarf Lord, Shieldbearers, Shield, Rune of Sorri, r cleaving, R Preservation, R Resistance, MR Challenge.

Thane, BSB, MR gromril, R Resistance, R of Furnace.

Runesmith, Shield, Rune of Stone, 2 Scroll runes.

Dragon Slayer

Dragon Slayer

23 Warriors, GW, full command

23 Longbeards, GW, MR Grunghi, Full command

21 Quarrellers, GW, full command

Grudge Thrower, engineer, rune of accuracy.

Grudge Thrower, Engineer, rune of accuracy, rune of burning.

16 Slayers

Gyrocopter

Flame Cannon

Not what I'd class as a traditional Dwarf gunline

Not sure what armies he faced

Well there you go. Not a list that I would have picked to podium, but obviously played well with. Thanks for the updates Pete, sound like NZs first 8th tournament was a success!

Seems like a fairly standard Dwarf list to me - although 16 Slayers & 2 Dragon Slayers is new.
