Mordheim will have to wait for the time being, I have a new game to learn and a new army to learn with - it won't be pretty (but then it never is).

I'm keen for a game or two this Sunday (1st) and mid week if possible.

He hasn't got a choice Smiley

I won't be at the club this week, so you're welcome to drop by and pick up my models to use. I'll need them back the week after though Smiley

"I can" mean I can play you this Sunday Ant but can't play during the week.

if you don't mind playing with unpainted and partly assembled models, you can borrow my wood elf army for the day.
I don't have any etheral guards, so they are represented by swordmasters instead.

I was contemplating this, but judged against it, as the consequences for every one around when you and sundry others get smashed would be temporary blindness, at best, from my brilliance.

Simon, as first cab off the rank I'll be delighted to play you, just make sure you show up this time.

Luke, are you still able to host games?

I can host but work has me going from 2pm-10pm now which is even worse than my old shift.  Unless you somehow are off work for a morning game I can only play you at the club or on monday.

This is a nice offer, but I'll have to pass it up.

It may come to having to take a day off work to get an uninterupted game of warhammer played though (if you've seen me around at the club recently you'll know what I mean).

Learning experiences were many in my first game. The sledging was legendary.

Next game vs Ricardo on Friday and hopefully Big D next Sunday

The treekin and dryads performed well. Magic was a bit *meh*, saving the game for you, but not really dominating as expected. Shooting was nothing to write home about either. The EotG steg was a real handful though.

Loads of fun.

Plenty to work on for next time.

Well, don't throw infantry at them anyway. Cavalry actually have a niche - they're good against ogre-sized units!

The grand total of games so far is a paltry five and the woodies have been performing a lot better than some students of Warhammer may have anticipated. I can't expect too much of a challenge next weekend either.

If things don't pick up soon, I'll have to wait until game 2 of FoB for a decent challenge  Tongue

As you speak I'm downing a kilo of cheese in anticipation of taking over the mantle of cheese. Just hope you don't live upto the recent rumours of 'rolling over' in important games as I'd like a challenge and I'm sure the audience would like a spectacle Cheesy

Is FTW the venue in New Lynn? I'd be keen for a look some time. Unfortunately I only have a proxy army, as the orange and blue horde will be mine for only the couple of days of FoB. If proxy stuff is OK and I can get a night off I may pop out west.
