It's fantastic that we have the rise of the Beastmen at Vermintide. Also some new names reaching podiums. I hope there will be a triple Dunn, Triple Dixon presence in tournaments to come : ) Top result you fellas!

How did you find the tournament Pete? Any unusual happenings or good moments over the weekend that you'd like to share with the Jaffa populace?

We played all the rulebook scenarios with the exception of Battleline.

So in order:

Dawn Attack
Battle for the Pass
Blood and Glory
Watchtower
Meeting Engagement

I am more convinced than ever that the full gambit of scenarios act as a comping factor. You can find the lists and guidelines on my blog.

Only one list was required to re-submit - and that was a relative newcomer to tournaments who had Magic Heavy HE with Book and Banner. He was quite happy to change his list after we discussed its potential dominance in the magic phase.

None of the rest dominated. Top three players scored 70, 70 and 69 Battle points out of 100.

Everybody scored full sports. Smiley

I answered 10-15 questions a round mostly related to flee/pursuit, buildings and model targeting/affected.

I had great time finding out about all sorts of rule quirks

Anything interesting come up in the results for the "Battle for the Pass" scenario? Did it (in your opinion) end up favouring the armies with ranged options? That seems to have been something the Australians were b!tching about at some stage.

Anything interesting come out of the Watchtower scenario? i.e. mostly won by attackers or defenders?

Nice to see Battleline (a la Pitched Battle) isn't compulsory for a tournament now Smiley

ADC scalps collected = 2 (does it count as 2 when it's been Philfy both times?)

@Dave - just to take this off topic, I played Battle for the Pass on Sunday for the first time. The distance wasn't the problem, it was not being able to sneak around the flanks!

Ha - sneak around the flank? You sound like a Wood Elf!

I read somewhere in the Watchtower scenario at Skitterleap you got 1000VPs for holding the building. Is that right?!
