...anyone here know what particular game it is?

The one I've seen at the club is 'Call to Arms', which is a Babylon 5 fleet game...

I've just recently bought some models for Uncharted Seas, which is a 'fleet game' Smiley Spartan games also has a space version called Firestorm Armada which looks cool, but I don't think that's what's being played.

heh, I was asking because I'm looking at those two games.

Both games seem pretty cost effective and easy to play.

Great! I've had one game of Uncharted Seas, with Philfy at the club a few weeks back, and that was enough to make me go and buy some models. It's a nice change from Warhammer!
I bought the rules and 2 starter fleets and it cost ~$150 from Maelstrom games.
I'd be happy to give you a game at the club sometime if you're keen.

Or could you bring a couple of models and the rulebook in... I'd be keen to at least see the things in person.

Chris, Dale, Paul and Co. (none of whom are on this forum) play Babylon 5. I don't know where they get the miniatures from... I do know, but I just can't recall the name! Angry

Thanks for bringing the minis in on Sunday.

I am definitely going to buy into this game.
(will probably order a starter this weekend before the Maelstrom sale ends)

Is there any chance I can borrow the rulebook for a week some time?
