Hi all,
King of Cards is holding a free special Board Games Day this coming Saturday from 10am to 5pm. There will be a pile of awesome games being run with demonstrators who will help you learn the game as well as a pile of well known favourites.
Things like Dominion, Agricola, Small World, Munchkin, Arkham Horror, RoboRally, and much more. We are raiding the Dog House board games and bringing a huge pile in for people to try out. And if you have a favourite, bring that along too.
There will be a Mega Settlers game which is huge and takes many people
Come and check it out on one of the big main tables.
Stacey will be there demonstrating some of the Steve Jackson Games including the new Zombie Dice and Chthulu Dice games, as well as the usual favourites of Munchkin, Revolution, Nanuk, The Stars are Right, Frag and many more. Come and gain special promo cards and other goodies for a range of SJG games.
Extreme Wings of War will be running which requires accents for your plane instructions. Costumes, ludicrious moustaches and flying hats hugely encouraged. There will be loads of planes so if you don't have one we can get you involved in a game.
And if you want to try out some new card games there will be folks from the Warhammer Invasion Living Card Game group there to show you how to play, you don't need anything to try it out. Everything will be provided.
Spoils will also be running Learn to Play tables so come and check out this awesome game.
And there will be special random spot prizes given out throughout the day to those taking part.
So if you are looking for some new games to try out, or just want to find some players for a game you own then come along on Saturday to King of Cards in the Queen's Arcade at the bottom of Queen Street.
