Interesting, guess it means they have stopped printing the Codex and there will be downtime before the new one is released.

And there is major change in the codex.

Daemonhunters can no longer take any allies.
No any ohter forces can take Daemonhunters as allies neither.

Witchhunter still can!!!!

I suspect that as per certain rumours, gw is simply going to be replacing both books soon with a combined imperial agents codex.  Making the books available for download might be their way of testing a theory that they can generate a few quick sales before a new codex comes out, due to people downloading the rules and then starting an army.  Maybe!

Only the English PDF actually omits DH Allies, French, German, etc, don't.

I'd suggest an error. In fact GW Customer Service has confirmed that the deletion of the allies section was in error, and tournament organizers will have to declare which version they want to use.

Allies may be gone once DH/WH get an actual new Codex but at the moment the PDF is merely a free version of the old Codex.

Yeah I've noticed these models are slowly dissapearing from the online store, also GW st lukes said they aren't getting re-stock of sisters or daemon hunters anymore.

From what I've heard/read they are both getting their own codex, and both will no longer allow allies. So they will become stand alone armies, will be very interesting as there should be a whole new range of plastic models coming for both and the new models coming from GW these days are looking very nice these days Smiley

Carl is on the money.

wouldn't it be nice to have an inquisitor mini along the same lines as space marine comander, or the chaos comander kits.
so there can be the oppertunity to mix and match and do some kit bashing Grin
