Yes, Aaron, having a look at the mounts available, it would appear that you may have to be the ass master. Cheesy

Go on! Make a donkey!

If anyone has any troubles understanding how the Henchmen recruitment scheme works, here is Mike's very good example, which I'm sure he won't mind me sharing:

Henchman group 'A' consists of two Flagellants. They have 5 experience points (Totaling in 10). This means that they have two increases (Both in WS). I wish to add more Henchman to the group. I roll 2 x d6 and get an 8. Therefore I can hire one more Flagellant to join group A, this new flagellant shares the stat increases of the others in Group 'A' meaning he too has a WS of 5. The extra 3 points rolled are discarded.

<snip>

I'll take that on the chin as it was....

Lezle you mentioned sometime ago that you had a large rat model in your bits box?? did you ever find it? if so I'll buy it off you and use that as a stand in mule conversion rather than being the ass master but it can still have ass master stats.

PM me if you can find it, I'm liking the idea of the assassin (doh!!!! he's a double ass and in Shocked ) riding a giant rat other wise I may have to use the miners donkey from the skull pass set but that model is big time ass master

BTW, can someone go over the hiring of new hero's for me at end of each game. I.E. how do we search for new hero's if a hero dies or is so badly wounded it is better to let him leave the warband and recruit a new hero?? IIRC it is different than just adding henchmen groups but can't be sure? do we need to roll dice to search for them as per dramatis personal or something like that or can we just buy them from the gold we have available?

The random encounters and subplot rules look like they will be good fun indeed. Mike if you are able to laminate them up as well, similar to the critical charts etc you already have can you do it please for the next round?

Ass ass in.  Grin  Oh, how juvenile.

Yes, I have the model, Aaron. I'll send you a message.

Righto:

If your Hero carks it, or gets a bit too munted for your liking: just kick him out. He leaves and takes all his gear with him with a cry of "Well fine then! See how well you do without me; I'm the best fighter in this shabby warband anyway! See if I care!"

You warband then places a help wanted ad in the local rag, and waits for the 'phone calls to start pouring in. Smiley

After many lengthy interviews and salary negotiations a Hero is hired!

He comes straight from the warband roster sheet with all his equipment bought from the starter chart. No need to roll anything. He just shows up ready for battle.  Smiley

How-ever! If your leader dies, one of the other Heroes must rise to the task.

It is the next hero with the highest leadership, if more than one have the same leadership it goes by experience, if they have the same XP they just roll off. The naff thing is that they don't gain the leader skill set. They have to use their original one, they just get access to the leader equipment...

"...they just get access to the leader equipment..."

Not even that! You can't get stuff from your warband starting list once you start the game... you MUST find everything. Smiley Only NEW warriors get to bring stuff from home (the starting list in other words.)

That isn't too confusing is it? Everyone understands? Huh Undecided

I understand, but it means that they can "Use" things on the Leader list if it was different from your regular hero one... So you can buy and use items from the leader list... I've got a better solution, don't let your leader die ^_^

It has been suggested by one Mr. Andrew that a six player battle should be the order of the day this Sunday. I think that it is time for such a battle; Mordheim only allows for a maximum of six players in one battle (or is it eight?!) so if anyone wishes to join in, they are more than welcome.

I would suspect Andrew's main motive for wanting such a battle would be something to do with a great many opponents to squirt Black Blood on.

If less than six wish to participate - that is fine also: the main thing that Andrew wants is a huge battle... Why he didn't write this I'm not to sure... L, A, Z, and Y form a word that suits him nicely.
