ok here is a sample of my Ork Death squad:
This is the Ork Nob and the current leader of my Squad. He is armed with Kustom Blasta, Big Choppa, Helmet, Looted Carapace Armour.
We are currently looking at the Bionic enhancements and I am going to look at some more Orkie ones that would suit them more so then the "Imperial" versions. [eg I want to get him trikey wheels....]
His Bionics will be:
Bionic eye [this will enchance his shooting with the Blasta]
Wheels [will make it eaiser to mover over difficult and dangerous ground.]
Will post more pics as I find them.
Cheers

Excellent stuff!!
I really like him! He's got a real Orky Vibe throughout the whole thing. Nice work!

thx here is the rest of the squad:
ok the following miniature was inspired by this picture from the TLRB:
so here is my poor attempt at converting him.
Dakka Dakka Ar'd Boy:
the story behind why I did this was due to one of my Ar'd boyz OOA'ing three Imperial renegades, [HWS, Sergeant, Militant...and one of these guys actually DIED!!!] he was armed with two pistols... boy was he having a good game... to honour that I decided to convert him up to the for mentioned pic.the conversion was an interesting one to do very very fiddly. but as for the paint job he looks so much better in real life then these pics can show.
Gretchins:
Burna Boyz
Kommando Lil Leaf
Ork Boy
Weird Boy
Ar'd Boy Drill Bit
Sneaky Boss Da Kermit [version 2]
Pain Boy Doc Frank N Furter
Trash-Kan
hope you guys are. I have since these pics were taken finished off the bases.
Cheers

Loving the killa kan. Looks like it's made from part Rhino, part Space crusade dreadnought if I'm not mistaken?
Looks like good fun, I get the idea death squads is more fluff and role playing based kinda like Warmachine/Hordes?

the trash-kan uses the following bitz:
plastic medicine bottle
rhino hatches
killia-kan arms
space crusade dreadnought leg
shield of a landraider
chaos marine driver body
WHFB night goblin head
control panel from drop pod
and other smaller bitz
Death Squad is a hybrid of many types of games:
Mordheim, Necromunda, space crusade/Hulk, Gorkamorka, WH 40k, and RPG...
this game allows you to "Detail" your warriors. By buying different weapons, armour and wargear you can make each one unique. The RPG side is made up of the skills you add, the fluff you write, the way you use your squad, how one units death could change the way the game is going or one awesome act of bravery can change the path of one of your grunts.
The campaigns themselves can be amazing as long as the person organizing it has some Imagination they will set it up and with each game the story is told. Its that kind of gaming I LOVE!!!!.
I am heading over to the Tauranga gaming club to play a demo game [and also hopefully start our campaign the B'Ork WAAAGGGHHHH!!!! Vs the Spandex brigade (eg the space fairies and Imperial puniness) should be alot of fun.]
one thing about Death Squad the campaigns will last the distance going 30+ games. [compared against other game types that petter out after 20+ games.]
if your keen have a chat with Nik__ he is planning on starting up a group in Auckland and I will support him with as much time and resources as I can.
Cheers
