Effort to own the Most High Elf armies int the world...

Had some spare models so putting together my 3rd High Elf army. It's a relief that I don't think I'll have any more HE in my collection.



Tyrion needed some luv so he actually gets fielded as a unit filler.

i have a few of those old school high elf archers and spears if you want a few more

paint the edge of the bases the brown base color the green looks really odd

You all do realise that none of these are remotely finished on the painting or basing front. The bases will have static grass to be added, which will look pretty good with the green edging. I just need to figure out if I'm that keen on paying through the nose for the clump stuff you buy at model shops or just settle with the $6 pottle of flock.

I just sold a bunch of mixed flock for bases on trademe for shit cheap.

From what i know i think that strong green on the edge will clash to much with the brown even with flock.

Would be partial to some cheap as flock if anyone has any. I've got a table and soon a table full of terrain to finish.

there was a group on trade me selling fairly cheap flock, and you can order any colour.
but there is all ways hobby city especially if you need heaps of flock for your terrain

i use woodland senics its about $7 a bag and is about 10x bigger than gws.

I think i found those guys on the AWC website. They've got a interesting foam and polystyrene cutter for sale as well there.

Had my first game for a while with the High elves against Daemons. The Daemon list was hard without it going over the top. The High Elves got destroyed to a man on Dragon. Glad Comp didn't have any effect and it would have been a 15-5 at least lost : (
