hello i havn't done anything hobby wise for a few months now,untill......

a friend of mine had some MDF cut off's he was throwing away, and i yelled NOOOOOOoooooo. .....stop. I can use that.
first thing that came to my mind was RUINS.......bu t let me walk before i run, so i decided BIG HILL.

so this weekend gone with no real plans i made a jungle hill.
I know, I Know,I Know. A hill how boring, why not save yourself the time and just buy one.
but this was messy fun Grin
again i did not plan this to much,i hope it is practicle in game terms.

Thats the great thing about 40k, you don't need to be able to fit a 100 x 100 block of infantry on it, you can have lots of individual platforms for models to stand on.

ok here we go majority of painting done.
but can only do one side as i have run out of the dark brown i was using as the base coat Angry .
next stage for this side is flock and painting/creating the plants.
not sure how to do the palm tree yet.

thanks dude, but i'm going to keep with my theme, of a jungle / deathworld so all the terrain pieces i have made, fit in to one world, i hope to run a narritive campain one day. i've even dreamed of a narrative tournament.

but here's a lesson learned
when painting scenery that is supossed to be matching paint it all at the same time.
Even though i used all the same colours, steps etc my more recent side is alot darker than the first side.
Hopefully the flock will cover this boo boo up.
