That's looking really good man! I like the heavily inked look of the army, it tones them down and gives them a more realistic feel.

Really like that yellow on the helmets, was that a GW yellow or another paint line?

Really nice stuff only thing i would change is to either do proper NMM on the sword of do the lightning thing you so often see because rightnow its just too unnoticable. Not saying its badly painted just how i would improve it.

I think you may find the problem with the sword lies in Bartoshs crappy photography skills  Grin

thanks guys Grin

the yellow is the gw yellow (cant remeber the name, its the bright one) with a devlin mud wash and highlighted with the same yellow.

Daryl is right, i am crap at photos.

the red is  tamya bright red (spray), devlin mud wash, blood red highlight then a fine highlight of blazing orange.

yep, they shall be unleashed for the first time at Batb.

That washed dirty look does look very nice. I dont think i am going to paint red again. I have had 3 blood angel army's and i just hate painting red now.

Looks lake a way easier process than what i went though trying to get a clean bright blood red on my guys.

I have tried the process you have with a base then wash and highlight but i could never pull it off.  Huh

I need to find some new painting skills i seam to be peeking at the moment.

They look very very nice.
Your recipe for red is very similar to what I'm doing, so I'm glad to see it turns out so well
