Wait, you sports hit someone because you didn't know their armies special rules??... Did you at least ask them if they pursued 2d6 or did your opponent imply they did? because otherwise....W
ow....
Couldn't quite believe I read this either. Harsh.

Note to all: Minotaurs only pursue D6 inches. Not being told that until after a crucial point in the game (i.e. setting up the perfect bait/flee/flank/win) with the frenzied unit cost me a big win at Natcon. Only the second time in my life I've sports hit someone.
Just out of interest did you set up your counter charge based on the minotaurs pursuing 2D6?

Jack and I were reading through the book this morning.
The Jabberslythe tongue attack is classed as a shooting attack. Is there anything that would allow you to pick a specific model from a unit e.g. character. We couldn't see it

I was very clear with my intentions when setting up the counter charge even stating that an average overrun of 7" would put them 'here' and even 11 or 12" would still be within LoS. My opponent was very aware of what I was doing and it literally cost me the game. In hind sight I should have just hoped for a big 1D6 overrun (about 5" was needed), but things got really messy with his original unit position, etc. There was a bunch of other stuff too, but that was the main thing. In the end, I answered the sports questionnaire honestly and the result was a sports hit.

We are talking captain softscores here and I expected there was a lot of other stuff.
Anyone else probably would have been thinking in terms of more physical penalising

I assumed that 3 minotaurs and a doombull would kill 5 fast cav, so it would be an overrun. Please tell me they overrun D6 inches also, otherwise I was completely had.

I know. I can't imagine josh on the parrapet of a dark tower, cackling maniacally with bats flapping around him, as lightning crashes on the horizon.

My point is that in the old book Minotaurs weren't allowed to overrun and they would persue 3D6. So if it makes you feel any better your plan wouldn't have worked at any time in the last 6 years or so...

So, anyway...
What's the deal now? Do they overrun D6"? Or pursue D6"? Or both?
