We've got two excellent indie comic to movies coming up which everyone should know about:

Scott Pilgrim versus the world. Scott wants to date Ramona, but he has to defeat her seven evil Ex's first... No seriously... Released by Oni Press this comic is bloody funny, and very random. Better yet, the movie looks the same...

Kickass. What's really stopping you from being a superhero? The comic made one issue before the rights to the movie were sold for an obscene amount of money. The comic is not family friendly. I have hopes for the movie...

Oh and there's a new Predator movie coming out. PREDATORS. I wonder how much it cost to find that title... Anyway, this is pretty mainstream so you should all know about it ^_^

Saw "Law Abiding Citizen" yesterday. Damn good movie. You should all go see it, even if its only to see Gerard Butler take a guy apart with a skil-saw and tinsnips

Yup, I do movie outings. I'll be organising a group to see both these. Clash of the Titans comes out on the 1st April so I'll be organising a group for either Thur night or Friday... depending on the screening times since Fri is a public hol... I organise group bookings so tickets are only $13 at the Queen st cinema. If anyone is keen let me know and I'll add you to my txt movie group.

Scott Pilgrim and Kick Ass look fantastic! Just goes to show there are better ideas for movies in comics than there are in Hollywood sometimes...

Really? You had teenage girls swooning whenever George Clooney or Ewan Macgregor came on screen? I don't know where you saw it, but I think it might have been a different movie.

i was meaning the idea of the movie is as dumb as vampires and ware wolfs falling in love with humans and not eating them.

And for both clooney an macgregor not there best work. I like Clooney more in Fantastic mr fox and he was just a voice. Best movie for macgregor is trainspoting hands down.

Hey, I liked Twilight... for the genre and audience it is meant for it's brilliant. Just cause they got some hotties to play the parts in the movie is an added bonus...
