FINISHED! Ahhh, there's nothing quite like the afterglow of finishing a miniature; he's done, photos are done and uploaded, everything is complete. All that's left is to clean up my painting space for the start of the next miniature... ^_^

My little Kroxigor turned out well I think. The extra bone has come off quite well and given him a little edge. I think if I wanted to make him look even more ancient I could bone all the ridges he has and even make some of the scales look desiccated.

The base is a little simple, but as I'm thinking about doing a small army of Lizardmen I decided to leave any big and flashy base to lords and heroes. Overall, this was a very fun miniature to paint, and I'm happy that I can paint other things aside from Space Marines...

As always I appreciate you taking the time to leave some feedback Smiley

Very nice...
I'm currently finishing a unit of Kroxigors at the moment, but they won't look as good as this guy.

your an amazing painter Cheesy......but i'm going to throw some suggestions at you.......some thing i read, and have been taught.
when planing a paint scheme . (be it graffitti, canvas ,mini's all part of my hobby's ) plan it around 3 shades or colours
on your krox you have 2 shades. The blue / sky blue and the  gold / bone
by adding one contrasting colur it would bring the viewers eye to attention on one area before looking over the rest of the model.
you have kinda done this with the krox's eye using green
but i think that for myself that third tone or differance is what is missing from making this great mini even more amazing
but i'm no expert here.and it is risky having to much colour happening on the mini
but the rule of thumb is less colour is always better and you have made this min great buy sticking to a simple scheme and painting it well.

Looks pretty damn tidy bro, I think you missed his front tooth on the left hand side though? or maybe it doesn't show right in the pictures. Smiley

Thanks guys Smiley

Juiced, thanks for the tip. I was looking for another color to put on there but couldn't really find a place to put one. In the end I went with the brown of the base / Wooden part of the weapon. But I'm going to keep in mind the work around three color thing for next time ^_^

Sectiplave, omg you're right. How'd I miss that?!? HA! ^_^
