Hello All…

First of all I have to say a HUGE THANKS to EVERYONE. This was the biggest 40k event Battlecry and I have run. This was well over double the number of competitors from last year’s event, and if this keeps growing, I may have to considering capping the number of entrants for next year…if they let me do another one…

Anyway, thank you all for making this the best event yet, and I hope that I can only improve on this next year.

Attached are the results for this year’s event. If anyone has any suggestions or comments they would like to make, please drop me a line.

Otherwise, I look forward to seeing you all next year.

Wayde Francis

Thanks Wayde for running another awesome event. I don't think BattleCry would be as awesome if you weren't running 40K  Grin And yes, this was the record number of players... I'm thinking we will have to cap soon as we used every tabletop we have at this BattleCry... soon we will have to play old school with cloths on twho tables  Roll Eyes

Charlie 'what haven't you won recently' St Clair, cracking result mate. Plus Bartosh you talked yourself down fella, good on ya for the podium. The guys I haven't met yet I'll see you at the next tournament.

I was shocked to get 2 out of 5 for my list, looking at it now it wasn't very well optimized and I have tightened a few screws already. Apparently a land raider automatically sets you up as a hard list though Sad

Just goes to show how poor my generalship is though, still had a damned great time for my first tournament, really going to try brush up my game for the next one.

looking over the results.

David Dawn took out best painted at 33.75 and Daniel Conlon and Charlie St Clair got 32.06

Also i only got 25, and Steve got less than me I wonder how these where work out.

Clearly this tournament is gaining popularity... well done Wayde!

Was there a record of which armies people were playing??

ey?

i was a bit lost with those results, when it came to presentation and comp.  all these arbitrary numbers :s - i'm sure i tied with someone for presentation though.  still, if those numbers do mean anything i guess i topped out with at least that Cheesy  stokage

thanks again Wayde, another fun year; your voice wasn't even hoarse by the end of it.  now i have to go some where and try to force 40k out of my mind for a few weeks and recover

i swore i wouldn't show up to another tournie hungover, and i failed yet again

Good luck with that man, I haven't been able to keep my mind off 40K for more than a couple hours at a time. I think I need to put my models out of sight for a while Cheesy

I guess so dave if that is how the base it you got the highest in that list so u should of unless there was other factors they did not tell us. Wayde said i got 15 out of 20 for painting what is good but how that works out in this i have no idea.

Congratulation s to the organisers in attracting 50 players this year, more than double the 21 players that you had last year.

The results from Battlecry have been added to the 40K Tournament Rankings and also to the new Rankings site http://www.RankingsHQ.com.

I would encourage players to check out the new Rankings site http://www.RankingsHQ.com.  It has your rankings across multiple games systems, and if you sign up to the site (which is free) you can see your results for your tournament gaming over the last few years.

Regards
