I've dealt with Iron halo and micro arts.  Got what I paid for, what it really depends on is the project that you have in mind.

I like the large range Iron Halo have, and as Derick points out their movement trays are a great option.  Don't recall seeing anyone else doing LOTR movement trays either (which are a great option IMO). I like that their bases are on the whole not too "busy" and easily customisable.  Price, ease of delivery etc are all a bonus and Al/Rachel have given excellent service.

Micro Arts, although expensive on the whole (esp when you take postage into account as well), have some great "options" and do use a better quality resin than Iron Halo, although some of their bases are a little more "rough".  I've found some of the range mixes in well with some of Iron Halo's to provide an even wider range of basing and a little bit of extra height without being too busy. Overall a limited range though.

Back to Basix I find to be as little "busy" in that there is too much going on on a lot of their bases (woodlands is a prime example).  Limited selection in some ranges.  Reasonably priced all things considered.  I've yet to deal with them though.

Dragonforge I definitely like the postage price, esp given they are in the US.  Range looks good and reasonably complete.  Certainly there are some bases there I will look at in regards to a couple of my armies...  Brets and Empire in particular.

There are a number of others I've looked at, but most of them have either incomplete base size ranges, esp in WFB type bases, or tend to be solely 40k type basing.

Overall for a NZ based WFB player, Iron Halo would definitely be my first recommendation .  Support the local company who are comparably priced, with a good range, and are happy to help with bits of advice, idea's, as well as supporting the local tourney scene (the latter being a BIG plus IMO).

And Iron Halo even gave out a couple of free "Ironhalo" dice with orders over Xmas. Thanks guys!

I have used Iron Halo bases for my VCs and my Alpha Legion. They look great, their ranges are very complete and the quality is good. Being a NZ company, I can also do bank transfers instead of Credit Card transactions, which is a bonus. Now if we could just get Al to make a generic "Sea of Skulls" type base, things would be perfect  Cheesy

Yes, I really wanted to base my Khorne Beserker army on something similar, but my wife lets me have no credit card love, so I couldn't.

I'm going to be a patriot and grab some keep and fens bases from Iron Halo for my sisters of battle and Salamander mixed army (just to make them clash even more on the tabletop Tongue ). I've seen their bases before and they look pretty good from what I've seen. I checked out dragonforge they didn't really have enough range for my liking. Like Vaul said it depends on the project you are looking for.

If you came up with the cash I could probably order them for you.  Unless you meant that the wife simply won't let you spend the money period, of course.

Thanks, but the Zerks are long finished. I came up with alternative basing for them.
