Dream has become a reality - for those that don't know NZ has a team at the biggest warhammer tournament in the world - the ETC. To be held in Munster, Germany in August 2010.

I am not (currently) in the team - merely a sub.

For those who don't know ETC has....

28 WFB teams of 8 (most of which have a non-playing captain) = around 250 WFB players.

22 40k teams (again 8, I think...) = around 180 40k players.

Also there is a non-team "side event" (ie regular tournament) of around 160 players for each system....

Finally there is a further single player event during the week before the weekend (mostly populated by players from the 'teams').

Most teams are from around Europe, but there is also a OZ, NZ, US and Canadian team going.

If only i had more time in my life and no wife and kid and maybe i could play 40k once a week more than once every 6 months. And i might have cash to go to every torney in nz and get invited to these things,
