its like ten to five in the morning.....ca n't get back to sleep so
tell me what if anything (gamewise ) did you get for christmas..... .especially if you got something from the other half in your life.
my lady thinks the hobby is silly and overpriced.... ...(which it is but, i love it anyway)BUT amongst various smellys and 12 packs of undies,i got
some very very nice paint brushes including a very nice fine and a hardy drybrush as well,it shows she understands. ahhh bless her.......i was kinda wishing for for an ork battlewaggon but the hints i was dropping didn't get through Grin

Well I guess one of my presents is kinda related, I got a bonzai tree, which I could use as a terrain peice in games..... providing I don't kill it, I've already made the mistake of over watering the poor wee thing, very picky little trees!

Nice, was that the original or the re-mastered collection of DBZ? either way that's gotta be a massive collection.

In combination with my birthday, (which was a couple of weeks ago) I scored $400 worth of GW vouchers, which I spent on Saturday @ St Lukes. This finishes off my VCs, as well as making a decent start on my next WFB army.

nobodt gave me any tin soldiers for Xmas, so I decided to give myself some Xmas presents instead.

ordered:
4 more white lion chariots
vampire battilons
2 boxs of dire wolves
and a few vampire characters

This basically finishes off exchanging my "old" vampire count models to "new" vampire count models.

I too bought myself a prezzy with some of the money I gained from selling the TKs.

I bought the remains of my (wife's) Lizardman army (Carny, 2x stegs, Chameleon Skinks, Razerdon, Terradons), the remainder of my WoC army (Chosen, Lord of Slaneesh, Warshrine, Marauders, Sorcerer Lord), and a couple of other bits and bobs like brushes, modeling do-dahs, etc.

I received them all on the 23rd and spent all of Christmas googling over them...

My wife gave me lots of paints.
She first bought the basic paint set and the foundation paints set from Vagabonds, then went to st Luke's, saw the full paint kit (the one in the GW case) and bought me that as well, just to make sure I had everything.
To top that, she gave me a bunch of vouchers, so I could buy any other GW supplies Smiley

The only Toy soldier related products received for xmas was some GW brushes. The girlfriend braved the geek shop to gt em too. I was mightily pleasantly surprised.

The dental plaster I found is comparably priced to hydrocal...  and better to use (apparently)...  will keep you posted on how it works out.
