Themed ALL nurgle, thus not Utilizing  2 other lores, Bloodletters, horrors, Daemonettes, FURIES, Flesh hounds, Screamers, Seekers, Bloodcurshers, Flamers, and Fiends.

I consider my choices a concession on options given the players pack promotes multi god forces, rather then mono god.

I think the Nurgle wall (Rion's list as it were) is a poor choice for Equinox. Unless your opponent is a complete idiot they will have realised how nuts the regenning Plaguebearers are and will play either for avoidance or, if they have massed flaming goodness, to take out one block.

If you play on average a tier 6 list you are giving up a stack of points. Conservative play by most opponents will result in you consistently losing 12-8 off the back of the comp differential.

You're up against a nasty spell cast on 5 dice every magic phase though, so that can lose you some points if he's lucky with his dice!

Bugger - looks like my fishing luck is about as good as Daves...  given only Rion bit, and badly at that  Sad

I approve of Dirty Daves' thematic approach, it's the same theme that I've been using for the past 20 years .

Considering you wrote his list for him, it's not unexpected that you would approve.

I'm going to be wandering around with a camera all weekend taking photos of games and armies. I'll also have my light box there to take shots of the armies entered into the painting part of the comp. So everyone look pretty... oh so pretty...

Magnetic trees FTW.  I wouldn't want my nice little trees to get all smooshed when SOME people may try to cram as many wardancers in there as possible.

Just so everyone knows, Vaul and I had another cracking practice game last night and I rolled my first GATEWAY FTW! on his Hydra. The dice are warming up... beware. Also, note that Chosen are awesome when you keep passing all their armour saves.

Arguably Warhammer is also a game of luck. Combos like Dreadlance/Red Fury reduce the luck factor without effecting the skill required IMO. I don't see anything wrong with it... as long as he stays away from my units that is...

Two draws and a loss for me. Lame. Here's hoping for a good second day. Team Guard did managed 3rd in the Team Challenge though, one ahead of team North.
