There was some leniency involved, so 25% incorrect does not mean that 25% of players were penalised. But yes, some players will be starting slightly or significantly behind the start line, unfortunately.

All players who have recieved a late penalty will be notified in the next couple of days via email.
I was very lenient on most players who only recieved half penalties. We are still a good wholesome tourney and there's no heavy hand. You fella's that can't add or read, its good to know that you made our job checking way harder than it could have been. I was tempted to throw the penalty hammer at you guys Smiley For those who were lucky enough to skip any penalty, it was due to the fact you were new to tournaments or the game itself. For you veteran gamers, be content that I halved any penalty you should have received.

40K lists have been sent to the Comp judges so if your lists are not in then I'm afraid you maybe getting the minimum score.
I will update 40K players when all lists have been marked by all the judges.

Peace out.

All lists have been received for the fantasy competition. There are still lists still outstanding for the WH40k competition. You guys all know who you are please get in contact with me asap.

- When all the WFB lists are reformatted to one format they will be released for general viewing.
- WH40k lists will not be released before the tournament. All comp scores have been received fromm the judges. I was really pleasantly surprised that over all the lists were on target and not too full of filth. Should be good even matchups all the way through the tournament for you guys.
- Anybody out there who has terrain to sponsor a table or two we would like to hear from you.

Phil.

I disagree. A variety of terrain is always beneficial to making an interesting game. I agree that 6 building on the same table may be a little OTT, but I certainly would not like to see every table set up with 3 hills and 3 woods. Boooooooooriii iiiiing.

Q. Does my Army need to be painted for me to play at Equinox?

A. We don't require you to have a painted army to attend Equinox. For both WFB and 40k theres is no minimum painting requirement for you to attend. We are endeavouring to let all the the gamers out there play, no matter at what painting stage their army is at.

Just a quick question as I'm thinking of borrowing some models for the tournament that actually have a lick of paint on them... the PP suggests that the whole army has to be painted in order to get even the minimum of painting scores. If half my army is painted and half not will I still get 0/20 for painting? Doesn't bother me if that's the case I just wanting to decide whether I should borrow or not.  Wink

Everyone who is kind enough or who have terrain they want to use please bring to the venue just in case we are short. If we get the best outcome and we have heaps of terrain then you can always leave it in the car : )

Q. What if I have some models painted and half my army is bare plastic.
A. I'm not the best painter as everyone will know. Thats why I have Mike Morgan as the painting judge. The criteria for Equinox is 3 basic colours with each colour earning you 4pts throughout your army. Any models short on a colour will leave you without 4pts or parts there of.

Q. Do High Elf magical bows count as Magical attacks in the shooting phase.
A. Yes they do. They are not counted as magical in CC, where I assume a CC weapon is drawn.

Q.
i)Is the Skaven Doom wheel a monstrous mount or a chariot.
A. It is neither and is treated like Infantry (Giggle all you like I'm not GW)

ii) Is it a Warmachine? And if so, like the Stank, does it only give up VPs when all 5 wounds are lost?
A. It is not a warmachine and will give half VP's after 3 wounds are lost.

Just pointing out Phil that this contradicts the ruling on Wood Elf magic bows, and also the ruling for previous tournaments I've been to, such as Fields of Blood. Consider changing your mind?

There is a whole load of discussion on the merits of the Magic bow in many forums. The HE magic bows are magical for Equinox. Wether other TO's follow in this decision after this tournament its purely up to them. As for FoB, I disagreed with that ruling Wink

That's a long way of saying that if there's even one unpainted model in the army a player scores 0 for painting. I'm tempted to spray the units and slap on some blood for two colours (technically giving me 8 points), but that's lame. That's kind of why I prefer the '0 points - not painted, 10 points - half painted, 20 points - fully painted system. It's well past my opportunity to moan though.  Grin

Thanks for clearing that up though Phil.

All lists have been received for the fantasy competition.

- When all the WFB lists are reformatted to one format they will be released for general viewing.

This of course can take a little while to do...

I believe lists will be made available today. There was just some form of delay with re-formatting all the lists into a consistent format (every one was different). Glen, if you'd like to see my list earlier though, I'll PM it to you.

All the Fantasy lists have been reformatted and will be sent out to Participants tonight. They will be also hosted on Nicks webpage where he hosts all the Players packs as well, just in case. The delay for release of army lists was due to so many incorrect lists which we needed to have resubmitted plus huge amount of different formats the lists we sent in with. Thanks to the committee for actually grinding the mountain of admin work that was required.
