hello i am interested in building a swamp and a river as part of my on going senery collection.
I know gamesworkshop do water, but what of any of the other companies,i'm after qaulity and the ability to mix paint into the water to add depth. but price comes into it as well. i don't want to spend heaps only to get the same results from another company. cheers any advice appreciated

Best stuff and for price is woodland senics water effects, there is two types one you use to add detail like ripples and waves and stuff about $20 a bottle but goes along way as u just use small amounts, and then there is the water what drys clear and is about $40 a bottle what is a 1L bottle i think for shalow things like rivers you could do a heap easy with this.

I use this for the rivers on my train sets and is the best around, you can get at hobby city in town or albany.

With this stuff to add depth you just paint the baes of the river darker in the river and go to lighter, once adding in the water affects it will look 3d so you dont want to add paint to this stuff it wont work that way. a fade from dark to light from the mid will do the job. I have done this and it looks good.
