Just a couple of updates. Equinox 40k will be set at 1750pts and the Space wolves codex will be accepted. No, there will not be an apocalypse game in the wings.

Notice WRT Warmachine/Hordes:

A play packer is virtually finished, but will not be being released for a couple of weeks (so as not to overshadow other player packs being released soon). It will be released on the Kiwithralls blog.

The event will run for two days and comprise a 100pt 2 caster SR4 type format, and several 15pt Mangled Metal games (these are not separate 'events' - the player pack will detail how these are incorporated into the event).
There will also be an 8 player cap, with only prepaid registrations confirming your spot.

what about the nid codex?  i'm kinda confused as to why the space wolf codex wouldn't be accepted either?

because buttle is now doing space wolves and he will turn the whole codex into sliced solidified bovine excretions

@ Neckface:
I think the SW codex was specifically mentioned because the Equinox 40k pack was being based off the Masters pack, which stated no SW codex, I assume because it only came out a couple of weeks before the event and therefore no-one had any idea on comping SW armies. Being that the Nid codex comes out in Jan and Equinox is in March (2-3 months seperation) I can't see them banning it.

He had Deathwing at battlecry. The sort of Deathwing that lose 1 on 1 combat with a firewarrior

Thanks to everyone who has registered their interest with me for Equinox.

News:

WFB players pack has been finalised and just needs some proof reading and it'll be released later this week. Registrations for the tournament will start later this week also and I appologise for the delay due to logistics. For all those wondering when the 40K players pack will be released, it will mid next week and further news of other systems will be confirmed at the same time.

Watch out for our full page advertising in the February 2010 White Dwarf. Spread the news out guys and lets make this a humm dinger of a tournament. There will be Perpetual Trophies for Both WFB & 40K and spot prizes along with the podium finishes. It would be great to see all the familiar faces from the club there and meet all those new players in the wings as well. Keep up with the great C&C on this thread and remember it's your tournament.

just bought all the stegadons i ever need yesterday, I need to know how many stegadon(s) i'm allow to take.

You probably need all the stegadons you can lay your hands on Simon, but at Equinox you will only be able to field two so long as they are different

Sorry fella's real busy with xmas shopping merriment of the season and all. I'm sure you boys n gals all understand. Will get onto it as soon as poss and I won't make anymore ppl twiddle their thumbs for too much longer

Yes I will get both WFB and 40K PP's ready before Xmas hits us. I thought I'd give the FluffyCon pack a couple of weeks as it's kind of our sister tourney before releasing any Equinox stuff. Thus giving you guys plenty of time to get amped in anticipation of the Tournament feast beginning of next year
