For those that don't know what a cake con is... small one evening WHFB event, fielding ridiculous restricted armies on a 3' x 4' table.  winner gets a cup cake.

I'm looking for a show of interest for Friday night the 18th of December, probably use Big Nic's venue and probably use the GW rules for small battles.

Any takers?

yeah, where are the rules? I'd have to work out what I have to have, so I can work out how many snotlings I could get into the mix as well...

It's only 500pts, Vamps in Undies usually will bash anything else out there.

Good old dirty Vampires. 3PD + Periapt for 4 castings of IoN on a 3+ (or two castings of Van Hel's if I get lucky with my spell selection); or 3DD + periapt if I'm facing some magic. Nasty Knight strike unit, tarpit Zombie unit/meatshield, potentially huge Skellie unit.

Having a look at the warband rules.
It does throw the minimums out the window a bit, but it does set some maximums:
150 pts on Characters - your vamp gets to wear pants
1 rare + 1 special or 2 specials
You can choose a unit champ as your commander.
minimum 2 core...

you can get a little over balanced with this, but since there is no penalty on Comp... go nuts
