its how it worked for me too when i was a wee bubba. i had to secretly watch robocop at a friend's place when i was 8 and my parents were pissed when they found out

its only available online so you'll need your parent's credit card again.  its rated M so you should be sweet.  Karen from the club is organising a viewing of the movie on a projector at her place i believe, so you may be able to see it then

i just let my nine year old watch it........um it was prob not the best idea, should of watched it first before hand, told him not to tell his mum.....um that wasn't a good idea because he Loved it and it was not to long to he was telling her all the fight scene and the blood and....oh shi....

moral of the story is ...watch film first before allowing your kids to see it , and if you regret allowing them to see it don't tell them to lie about it.

@ at robbie....its voilent you might have to check first.....but dude i know how you feel it sucks not being able to see films because your to young.
 but hell you get to enjoy them all the more once you get to the right age.

Watched some of this at Battlecry and was alittle disapoited. I felt the way the marines walked around and jumped seemed really unnatural when fighting it was fine but the inbetween bits anoyed me also the terrain was so empty but no small stones on the ground no rise and fall of the ground. Overall cool looking film good action but still disappointing as far as movies go.

I think this movie could of been awesome if it had a larger budget. One thing the budget really affected was variety. Never did we see assault marines or possed or bloodletters or tanks. It was to short also Dan Abnett probaly had a far longer and therefore better story but had to slice out half of it to fit the budgett. Also I don't no about everyone else but I don't particullary like the 'one squad must escape a enemy planet and recover blahblahblah' type storys. I thirst for battles of epic scales Hundreds of troop! Horrific casulities! tanks! Fighters!
But no we get stuck with one squad and their command.Also they missed the two most iconic things about Space Marines apart from the marines themselves. Drop pods and Dreadnoughts! These were essental but not there. All this would of cost lots of money and that was how movie failed.

its funny the bits a really loved.......th e thunderhawk coming into land, the land speeder comming out and zooming off, the marine hand to hand combat in the begining the servitor placing the seal on the marine.....its the little things that made it cool.
but not great.

I listened to some 40k radio podcasts - in the first they were saying 'oh it looks crap, what a waste' etc etc. By the time they made the second 'cast they'd actually seen the full film on DVD (as opposed to youtube or whatever) and were more impressed. They basically convinced me to shell out some money for it -> if you want to see a better one get made, you have to make this one financially successful!
Hopefully it will arrive some time in the next few weeks
