INTRODUCING ULTRAMARINES – A WARHAMMER 40,000 MOVIE!
The moment fans have been waiting for is finally here... for the first time, the Warhammer 40,000 universe will be realised in a feature-length movie on DVD.
Ultramarines is a 70-minute sci-fi thriller that will use CGI and state-of-the-art animation production techniques. Games Workshop is delighted to be working with UK-based production company Codex Pictures, who have the momentous task of bringing the Warhammer 40,000 universe to the screen.
Aslong as they dont go bust or GW pull the plug its all go. Its on the GW website so i dont think they will.
All CGI no gay actors

Awesome. Shame it's Ultramarines, though.
GW is, in fact, a partner in this project so I don't see it being pulled for IP reasons. Having said that, Bloodquest was also being produced with GW's authority and look how far that went...

No, it's just the fact that us teachers aren't being paid for correcting your mistakes. We're quite mercenary in that regard.
I have been tempted to start a special thread for all the common mistakes I see around this site and others, though. I might call it "Free English Lessons" or something.

I'm also glad they have gone for a CGI approach, it's far to easy for sci-fi stuff to come across cheesy when it comes to doing it live action.

Well yeah the Blood Angels kinda got 'screen' time if you count the computer screen
The entire DoW2 campaign is based around blood angels which is a nice change, I've been playing it through on primarch difficulty, damn those tyranids have been stomping the crap outta my squads.

remmber Ultramarines where one of the first armys out the door from gw, start back from the rogue trader days. and are there main promo army look on the Space marine shelf and you will see all the covers are Ultramarines.
I say get over it and just be happy we are getting a movie for once. Just think they could fail hard and make a tau movie

Has anyone not seen this yet? I just watched it this morning. Its alot better then I frst thought it was going to be based on the trailers they released. Its actually pretty cool. Wish they would do a series now.
