Nice you'll be pretty much ready to go Dave, I guess it may change a few things in your army but it will be a good time to have a Tyranid army ready.

exactly - end of the day i'll still want to pratice with my army to get a rough idea of how i should handle myself better. need to make an army and stick to it, rather than constantly swapping and changing stuff out for each sporadic game i partake in
should we organise a game soon and face off?

Yeah indeed, I managed to hit this months bonus so I'll have enough cash to sort out that drop pod and landraider redeemer coming soon. Will give me a bunch of flame templates to throw at your hordes, dunno what to do about those pie plate spitters. Actually I think it would be a good game winding up with my crew getting whittled down to a final glorious melee to the death.
Also hopefully Izzy still has those two Rhino's I was after and I'll finally have a full 1850 point army
the amount of painting still to be done is simply amazing though

hey if i get my army done in time i'm keen to help you and mark out with some mass painting. spray paints, dry brushing and washes will be our friends.
cool, will flick you a message about a game some time and stop clogging this topic with idle chit-chat

more rumours!

Allessio has supposedly let slip the following titbits:
"I cannot speak about the Trygon, but a hypothetical model would have the same detail and more versatility than the Skaven doombell"
"I would expect something similar to a Tyranid basilisk, a new species with a brand new metal model is likely"
"If people want a new Hive Tyrant model will have to buy the Forgeworld one"
"The new book will let players field even more Carnifexes than before"
Here, in Italian:
http://www.forumgwtilea.it/forum/ind...pic=95497&st=0
From another ninja, there are two new plastic sets listed: Raveners, full plastic set, 35 euros, and Gargoyles, 22.75 euros.
Hormagaunts and Termagants will be sold separately, both boxes 19.50 euro. The current Gaunt-box is still listed, price unchanged.
There are also two new names:
Toxatroph, in a Blister, 17.50 Euro
Pyrovore, Metal Box set, 26 Euro
Also, besides the already available Tyrant Guard there is also a blister named Schwarmwache in German, which translates to Hive Guard, Blister, 17.50.
The New Battleforce has its price raised by 5 Euro, which is the same as the new Imperial Guard Battleforce.
I suspect out new creature to be either the Toxatroph, or the Hive Guard
more carnifexes eh... looks like i should buy those two unboxed fex kits up on trademe at the mo

Wow there is a deal on trademe that actually beats ordering from maelstrom?
Must be 1 in 100, I always find prices are worse than brand new
More carnifexes! sounds like I need to buy some assault terminators with thunder hammers and Vulkan

yeah man, time to bust out the cheesy units
yeah, this guy must've bought up a bunch of battleforces and broke them down - getting 6 warriors for 60 buck and 16 gaunts for 30. his two carnies for 90 is tempting but i may just wait a while. i already have one unassembled fex at home and i really should see what sort of builds i'd get with the new dex.
might have to get a trygon

That's not bad at all, those prices are under ordering new from Maelstrom, so it's a good deal.
Yeah the more I look at the new model in that picture, the less I like it, those spine protrusions look like they really should be tiered, with the top being the current size going down to half as long on the lowest set at largest.
It'll be hard waiting till the codex to hook up some more models, good luck with that.

I like fighting the DE they always brought a different challage to the game. I doubt I would collect them but thats just because Im not a fan of elves in general but I definatly want them to be continued.
